Restoration Process

A Similar Restoration Project in Iowa

Disassembly of the Iowa monument by the Karkadoulias staff - section by section.

 

Our monument will be disassembled in the same manner and loaded on a truck for transport to the conservatorâs facility.  Robinson Cartage has kindly donated the services of a crane and the City of Grand Rapids will have a two-man crew for this project.  The Karkadoulias staff will oversee the disassembly and loading of the monument onto the truck.  Vans Trucking has generously donated the transportation to and from the foundry.
